Short Announcement

 

Apparently my old laptop of more than 9 years (I got an Asus laptop sometime before 2010) has finally kicked the bucket. It has served me well throughout the years, but now it is finally time for it to retire after being as lagging as fuck and also had turned off by itself on me a few times despite being connected to the power adapter.

My hubby, who runs his own PC shop as a licensed redistributor of Lenovo products, got me a new laptop that has... *drumrolls* TABLET FUNCTION! Woohoo~

I might have plans to continue YAOI High using digital lineart instead, coz I'm broke as fuck and can't really afford buying my drawing pens all the time, but it'll be weird if the new ones are in digital lineart but the old ones are still in traditional lineart. So there is a high chance that maybe YAOI High might get a bit of a makeover LOL

Although, due to time constraints, and frankly the way too many pages might take way too much effort to switch the old ones out to the new, I have decided that the digital lineart version of the older pages of YAOI High art will only be exclusively on my Patreon.

Don't worry, for the next upcoming updates of the latest YAOI High, it will all be in digital lineart style, but for the older pages and beyond, I will not replace them with the new digital converted ones, but I will make them available to read on Patreon. I'm still in the process of converting them (which will take quite a while as well due to other arts projects I have to do, as well as real life responsibilities), but once it's done and available on my Patreon page, I will make another announcement.

I know I'm slow in updating, but I promise I'm doing my best to update them as quickly as I can, since I'm busy with real life as well as being involved in a bunch of events and real life commissions. Not sure if you’ve seen it, but YAOI High has been featured on YouTube!

Those who can’t sit through the entire hour of the review video I got on YAOI High, here’s their basic summary score:

Writing: 2/10
Art: 4/10
Characters: 2/10
=
Final Verdict: 2/10

BUT while the score is low, he still gives the reading experience as fun-filled 6/10, and highly recommends it as a must-read, provided you have a bunch of friends and a lot of booze

Personally, I think it’s pretty hilarious, despite the hating. In fact, it’s so hilarious, I’m not even insulted. I’m glad that my doujin could actually illicit such reaction. LOL #myinnertroll

You guys can watch it (just to find out why the scoring) and be your own judge, but please, no haters or hate flames or whatever on their channel. If I don’t take offense in this, neither should you. It’s all good clean fun.

After all, there’s no such thing as bad press or bad publicity

That being said, I am so honoured to be reviewed, even if it’s mostly flames. It’s moments like these that motivates me to do better and spit out more great content for my viewers
