La Nouche-The Promise

I thought Cassadia deserved some love, coz he’s my second most fav character in the La Nouche-verse series.

I took reference from a sketch done by Tifa the Strange and drew this.

Below is what the panels say:

1. Casadia turns around when he hears the door of his domain slide open. He wonders whether or not he would be sent again to retrieve any long, lost Matchmaking Witches that may have stray away from their path.

2. Disappointed, he saw that it was La Promesa, the Outcast. The broken Matchmaking Witch, the one that did not make it into the field and was scrapped as a useless droid to cater the needs of official Matchmaking Witches and the Amnesty

3. "What do you want, Outcast? It is not your business being here. Do you not know you are forbidden in these ranks?" Though he asked that, he was still surprised as to how the Outcast was able to enter his domain because it was only accessible and to the knowledge of the Amnesty

4. Before he could react, La Promesa suddenly had a wave of a hand and Casadia's body exploded, splitting his liquid body everywhere

5. After what felt like forever, the law-enforcer came to, and the first thing he noticed was that he was now in solid form

6. Casadia looked down to see a sort of glowing emblem that resembled two blue roses glowing on his chest. It was the Old Magic, the one thing that can remotely make him feel the way he used to be. How long has it been since the last time he was solid? He couldn't even remember!

7. Before he could ask the what-s, why-s and how-s, La Promesa lunged forward to hug him tight. It sent almost a warm feeling in his heart to be able to even physically feel that hug, as he had not been able to feel this way in a long time

8. Casadia was shocked when La Promesa held up the Autumn Ring. It was the Ring that was given to him by a man he once knew, a man who had promised him his daughter that he had fell in love with the day she was born, a man who entrusted his daughter's life to him but he had failed because of his "loyalty" towards the Amnesty that created him. The Ring that made him La Nouche's betrothed

9. "How did you...?" He wanted to ask before he was frozen in shock when he saw La Promesa bleeding from the head, struggling with her begging eyes to pass him the Ring and a picture she held onto dear. He knew immediately who she really was.

10. Casadia watched helplessly as the Outcast exploded her brains out in front of him. She was rendered mute after being turned to a droid, but words need not to be said to know what was done to her, and what the Amnesty had turned her into...A Secret-Keeper

11. Casadia looked down at the horizon, his old cape he had fashioned out of the design of the Red Riding Hood universe draped across his being, contemplating about what had just happened

12. He looked at the picture that was passed to him. It seems that at one point, La Nouche and La Promesa used to be close, close enough for her to keep this picture till the end. He always knew La Nouche always had a heart of gold and would treat everyone right, even after the Amnesty cut her so deeply

13. Casadia held the ring in front of his eyes, staring at it sadly. La Promesa, the Outcast, the Secret-Keeper, sworn to the death to hide the Autumn Ring from him. He thought it was lost during the attack from the Anti-Yaoi and Anti-Yuri Brigades that killed the man and his beloved, the parents of La Nouche, but it seems that the Amnesty had been keeping this ring from him to prevent him from knowing his true destiny with La Nouche, and to tie him down to his so-called duties to the cause and blinded him from the pain they had caused his beloved

14. "If this is how they repay loyalty, I shall not want," Casadia resolved as he leapt from where he sat into the time-space continuum, from that very moment severing his ties with the Amnesty as La Nouche did

"La Nouche, wait for me, I'm coming for you..."

More details about Casadia will be explained in later posts
